TS001Stargate

Alright Marines, you are all here because it is time for tactical and stargate training.
Both of these stations are a nessecity in any starship or station you will ever go to,
so listen carefully. I will first brief you on the tasks both serve here on the TIFCs
ships and other areas. First off, the stargate, I can tell you from the start, it is not
a device to beam your girlfriends and boyfriends in for a nice round of boot knocking!
The stargate, is for emergency transport on and off of this ship, and other TIFC areas only!
Am I understood so far, soldiers? Good, now, the stargate works as follows, it starts as the iris on,
((to turn the iris on the command is !irison)) and the gate itself off. ((!gateoff) The gate
is to remain off, unless there is a wormhole coming in.((to initiate such, it is !gateon))
Once the gate is on, there will be a coordinance dialed in, that coordinance is important.
((for the coordinance, it is !dial #, numbers run from 1 to 5)) Once the coordinance are locked in,
shevrons 1 through 6 will lock, upon the 6th lock, the iris will disengage, and the wormhole will open.
((heres where !irisoff comes in, get it in right after the 6th lock)) Now folks, dont get the wormhole
confused with your girlfriends pussyhole, stick your dick in this, and theres gonna be problems...
((commands to disengage are the same as engaging it, just ran backwards, without the !dial commands))

Now, since you all know the stargate now, I will tell you about the dirty job that saves all our asses!
The Tactical station, located on the left wall inside the doors to the bridge, serves one purpose and
one purpose only! It is the sole weapons area for the ship, it houses the shields and the phaser commands.
When working at the Tactical Station, noted as TS001, your job will be to maintain the shields for the entire ship.
That means, you fuck up here, we are all space dust! The first thing you need to know, is how to make sure the
station is running at full power, so there arent any little mishaps, in the top right corner, there are sensors for the
Tactical Station. ((the command for which is !sensors)) You must also check the system status to make sure everything
is working properly for the whole ship, it is all ran from down here folks!((the command for which, is !system status))
Now, down to the real hard part of this job... In order to fire the phasers, ((thats right folks, this ship uses phasers,
not, laser cannons.)) you must lock in your Bearing and mark so you have the target locked on. ((this must be roleplayed out with Bearing #
and mark #, coming up will be posts to show said type of roleplaying)) Once the target is locked in, you must charge the phasers, these aint
your standard lock a clip in and fire off 30 rounds weapons, they run on photon energy. ((to do so, there again, it must be roleplayed out
posts for which are coming.)) And the final step on this little journey, is to fire the weapons and confirm the kill. ((the command for which is
!Fire but you also need to roleplay out the hit, posts on all of this coming in sequential order.)) Understood Marines? Good, I am glad to hear
that you made it this far due to brains, not guns alone!

((ok folks, as promised, the roleplay post demonstrations))

Xeromah locks phasers on Bearing 125 mark 32. "Target locked on Sir, awaiting charge to full power."
Xeromah charges Phasers to full power, mark short range phaser fire. 30 seconds later, a loud beep is heard from the tactical station, meaning
phasers had full power. "Firing upon enemy Sir, shield s
tatus at 100%." He smiles more, inputting the fire sequence.
Xeromah: Direct hit Sir, awaiting further orders."
