Marshall Lee, as a founder of the TIFC, has never received formal training from the Imperial Fleet Academy on Atlantis. However, Lee is a strong reformer and supporter of new innovations, training techniques, and lessons being applied at the Academy.
Military Service Record:
Lee’s first commission as an officer in a professionalmilitary force was a Lieutenant in Lord Risis’ Praetorian guard. During the various Sith wars, Lee would rise to the Captain and would be awarded various medals of honor for ground actions. His first experience with spacefaring came after Risis’ death and his eventual joining with the Sith Lord Darious.
Under the stewardship of Darious, Lee learned the ways of leading ships in battle, earning a reputation at the Battle of Coriax, where the last major sith powers met in a colossal battle. Later, Lee would become dissatisfied with the Sith, and his status within their hierarchy to undermine it. Later, he would eventually fall from grace within the Sith Orders and fleet to Typhos, and later rise to rule that Empire.
During his reign on Typhos, Lee would serve as the CIC of it’s forces, and during it’s 50 year existence, would fine tune his skills as a Commander, earning several victories. His flagship, the TIV Relentless would enjoy a reputation for three decades as the most formidable ship in the quadrant. With the collapse of the Typhosian Empire, he and his people fled to Takimora through the gateway found between the two galaxies.
Lee would find himself in command of the fledgling Takimora Space Corps founded by the then Vice Lord of the Takimora Clan Vice Lord Gerolkae. The TSC would later be reorganized under Lee’s stewardship into Takimora Independent Fleet Command, and later, included the Takimora Marine Corps. He has served as Commanding Officer of the TIFC’s Flagship, Starship Avalon, since it’s creation, and through four different classes.
