Long jagged scar staring at the tip of his upper right brow, skirts across the brow, down over the nose, across the lower left side of the face and ending at the tip of his lower left lip. The area around his left eye socket is a mass of scar tissue, Wears a flat black eyepatch over his left eye to cover the empty socket.

As a former member of the House Takimora Guard he carrys himself with extrem comportment, his uniform is always maticulisly pressed and mainted. He bears the tattoo of the House Takimora Guard on the back of his right hand, and he violates his uniform standard by wearing a ribbon bar denoteing his service in the assorted Takimora campaigns, one red and black with a fair of blood fangs with oak leaf cluster embosed on it to denote service in the C.o.S. conflicts, one black with a grey chain link across it with silver cluster to denote service in the anti-slaver campaigns, one deep blue with a black lighting bolt with oak leaf cluster to denote service in the Vanguard Campaign, one green and grey to denote service within the DFOR operations, and finaly one solid black with two red blood drops in its center to denote service in the 3 day Revolt with a dragons eye cluster to denote valor and service to the Empire.

Chase was an unknown orphan, found under shadowed circumstances by the Clan's Chief Medical officer, Dr. Darius Jung. He was raised as a ward of the Clan and offered any oppertunity he could so wish, when he was 15 at his request and granted by special proclamation by Lord Ronin with Gerolkaes reccomendation, he was inducted into the House Takimora Guard and served dilligently and with honor, he earned the rank of Sargent and one of the highest awards, the Eye of the Dragon, at the age of 17 due to his selfless service during the Circle of Silence conflicts. He stood his post with a few others guarding the husk of the Mansion after the C.o.S. virtually destroyed it and when Ronin and Gerolkae returned to the realm of B, he and his fellow guardmen returned with them to Takimoras new home in the nexus. He served his Lords diligently throughout the years pre-dateing the rise from Takimora as a Clan to an Empire, rising to the rank of Shift Sargent and cross training under Mr. Castle as a Spec. Op.s agent and then later under Dr. Jung as a field certified combat medic, and flight certified when the new Imperial craft where introduced. When Ronin had left to find some inner peace after the actions he had to take in the Vanguard campaign, he served Gerolkae as the new rightful High Lord of Takimora. When the 3 day revolt occured he held to his oath over his emotions and fought against the fundelmentilists, where he recieved his disfigureing scar in a knife fight to the death with his Captain. In the conflicts aftermath he resigned his commision and spent the better part of 3 years wandering from land to land and port to port, selling his services to those he found worthy. Eventually he made peace with his inner demons and applied to the Fleet, and under an executive order from Gerolkae was accepted. His time in the academy was terse, he excelled at his studies but was often met with resentment by his classmates and colleagues for standing against his fellow guardsmen in the Revolt, even though they were traitors. He now serves on the Avalon, not in seeking redemption but for the one thing that gives his life meaning, duty and honor.

Due to his prior service in Takimora, he only served two years in the academy and then went through a rapid acclumation version of Warrant Officer school. His time in the Academy while rough on the personal side, was nearly unmatched on the academic side, he graduated in the top 5% of his class.
