TMC 101

Welcome aboard cadet. You've chosen to work in the most physically demanding division aboard the Starship Avalon. Once graduated you'll be part of the most elite fighting corp in the entire Kintra space. The TMC were designed to fight the Tricentra and, as such, most of your training will be geared around combat with them.

The first question most TMC cadets ask when boarding is about career advancement. Aboard ship there are usually only one or two TMC teams. The TMC is headed by an Officer in Charge or TMC Commander, or if there are two squads an Officer in Charge (OiC) supervises two TMC Commanders. Below them are usually one or two Deputy Commanders and then Snipers Scouts, and Assaulters. To achieve the commander positions you need to be appointed by the Commanding Officer of the vessel. To acheive the Sniper, Scout, and Assaulter positions you simply need to pass the qualifications to the OiC's satisfaction.

The majority of your training will be physical fitness training. You'll do squad runs. Run through the ship, practice Physical Training (PT) in the holodeck, and, once you've achieved a minimal requirement you'll start weapons training in the holodeck working your way up to combat training in your 4th year.

As an TMC Cadet you fall under the TMC division and, as such, will be wearing an TMC cadet uniform for the duration of your cadet training. Please set the following configuration for your character:

CoC

The following flow chart shows who you're supposed to talk to and in what order. Ideally you want to speak to the person directly above you. You might find yourself not having anyone by the XO or CO to speak to if no one in your division is on. At this point TRY to figure it out yourself. If you absolutely can't and it's urgent send a message to the 3IC to at least show you TRIED to go through the chain.

Being a cadet you would follow the above chart you would speak to an TMC Team Member, then an Assaulter, then a Scout, and so on, if you had any questions.

If you ask a Scout and they don't know their job is to ask a Sniper, and so on. The information would then be filtered down the chain so everyone who didn't know would now know.

Above this chain is the divisional chain of command. You, being a cadet, should avoid even straying into this chain as "it's way above your paygrade".
